Petrichor is the name for the earthy scent that fills the air when it rains after a long, dry spell. When we made this belt, we were reminded of the cracked earth seen frequently during California's drought in 2015.

A limited-edition run of fifty. Each belt is marked inside with a serial number. This handmade belt came from our experimentation with the process of distressing leather. The result is a high quality piece with a story to tell. The ridges and textures give it a worn and weathered look that pairs well with your favorite pair of jeans.

Sealed with high-quality beeswax, the Petrichor Belt is both rugged and finished--ideal traits for the modern man.

• Made with premium cow leather from Europe (Scandinavia or Belgium)
• Vegetable tanned by one of the oldest tanneries in Europe
• Colored with water-based dye
• Sealed with high-quality beeswax
• Solid brass buckle
• Note: due to the handmade nature of these belts, there is some color and texture variation from one product to the next

• Length/Size Options: 32, 34, 36, 38, 40. Size is based on the position of the middle hole.

Process is everything. The crafting of this belt involves many stages, including cutting the leather, applying and drying two layers of dye, sealing with beeswax, punching holes, beveling the edges, attaching the buckle, stitching and/or affixing snaps or rivets to the leather, and punching the logo. All of this work is done by hand.
